Got an XFX and am going to flash it to a 290X and see what it can do.

Wasn't flashable, have watercooled it and will put in my main rig.

I read some were just 1 r9 290 of doing upto 850kH/s so surely 2 290s would leave you with a profit aswell as covering electric costs for both mining and folding

Nice Biffa.
I read that only TUL cards are unlockable.
But only the first batches as well.
The TUF factory received not enough 290 chips so they used 290X chips and flashed the BIOS.
