me too, closing afterburner fully seems to stop the 100% load most times not sure why could be random. (leave gpu-z open to check)

, tried a few games at 1200p and they seem nice and fluid. Not noticed any problems. I sometimes suffered from random occasional jerky play with the 7970 which only lasted a fraction of a second but not noticed that so far.

I've got a manual fan profile and I can see the core speed on my G15 LCD.

The only difference I can see that may make a difference is I'm on Win7 and adwol48 and kleimo are on Windows 8.1 ... can that really be it??

It will make some difference. Plus you're on P67, which means PCI-E 2.0 - that'll knock a bit off.

I didnt think it there would be that much of a difference, its fairly noticable isnt it.

It'll make some difference, but I didn't see you'd compared against someone else using PCI-E 2.0.

yeah stock 290x settings

actually just noticed its also saying my cpu was at 3.5 could have sworn i had it at 4.2
