Ah I see what you mean, no that was me linking to my other two 290X's from this thread, was mocking myself for saying no more changes till 20nm :p
 
It has arrived, very sexy looking card if cards can be sexy? :o

I had read that these MSI gaming had lower memory clocks, 1250 stock, glad to see that is not the case with the 8GB version it is at 1375mhz same as Sapphire VaporX 8GB.

Initial impression is that performance is similar to GTX 980, a lil worse in some games (Crysis) (Far Cry 4, although this game seems broke to me atm) and weirdly a lil better in BF4, will try and get some benchy's done later, considering the cost, this looks pretty positive so far.

Just ordered 2x 290Xs :) so I guess this means I'm back on the red team. Group hug? Do you have cookies?

I couldn't see how Crossfire 290Xs for no competitor pricing wasn't a great deal. It would have been wasting money not to buy them ;) heh. They arrive tomorrow. Reference cards. Fingers crossed they aren't as noisy as ppl say but I wear headphones so :p

They are very loud, but with a good set of headphones it's not too much of a problem.
