** R9 290X Watercooling Thread **

My problem at the moment is i have a i7 3770k @ 4.8 and the 290x on one EX360. I should have my EX240 delivered tomorrow to add to the loop.

But that being said with one EX360, heaven custom preset (Check pic) stock 290x max temp 50 degrees.

Once i add a EX240 to the mix then I will go for it properly!

Idle at 38 degrees. I need to get something to get the room temp, my room is always roasting!

Looks ok though, my blocks on the way and I'll be running it all on one 360 also. Not looking for lowest temps on my rig, just low noise.

Found one place that might have block tomorrow . If so i will get one from them and cancel preorder at ocuk :( Cause fan is driving me insane.
I got small case so i have side off. I can hear it in whole house.

So if anyone cares. In an insomniac session, I have, for now with stock coolers, intalled my 2 Palit Jetstream GTX 770 and the difference from SLI to Xfire is massive!

Performance is a monster and All the stuttering and slowdowns are completely gone! I love it :) Even with V-Sync disabled!
Unfortunately MS is raining on my parade and Windows 8.1 has destroyed gaming making V-Sync a necessity... thanks...

Now I also see how restrictive the 3 GPU setup is. My flow jumped from ~60l/hour to ~120l/hour!

Let's see how it will fare once I watercool both cards.

Are you able to get your vrm temps? Only app I seen able to do that is AIDA64.
