R9 390 tri x random black screen after swimming session

So I'm getting random black screen during watchdogs 2 and the division I'm also playing just cause 2 and not experiencing any black screens.
Sometimes it goes black and after a few seconds it's back to normal sometimes it goes black for a long time and then back some times it goes black and stays black with sound cutting in and out.

I have only ever used this card in xfire but this is the serviving card from a recent water leak. A back plate saved this card although a little bit of water got under the back plate around where that green xfire status led lives. The bottom card is dead it drowned in a puddle the size of a £2 coin.

So now I'm looking for a single card that will allow me to play every thing on ultra settings on 1080p for years and years, I have the urge to buy 1080ti but £700 . What have amd got that is close to the ti I see the 480 at around £200 but that's nowere close to a ti.

Ps I don't know what I'm talking about, I don't keep up with gpu news my spare time is used up gaming

The RX 480 is a very capable card at 1080p but it is certainly not going to last for years on end. Also you didnt specify what FPS you wanted to target. If you want red in your machine and it have to be more powerful than the rx 480 then there is only vega which is yet to be released. The second hand market might be of interest for you. a 980 ti might end up being a good buy if you can find one cheap enough. You might even be lucky and find a 1080 used for around 350 ish considering the latest price drop unless people are being retarded with their prices.

I'm haven't got acsses to members market and I'd rather buy second hand from there then flebay.

The devision is black screening like mad, I'm sure I missed a named weapon drop last night. Vaga comes out sometime this year I'll see how long I can wait, 1080 has already had a price drop. My 2500k will prob be a bottle neck a new gpu is going to put a big dent in my kaby upgrade.

for 1080p a 1070 would be good enough to run your games at ultra quality for quite a few years I'd say.
