Hi, next door to where i live a family has 5 or 6 rabbits. And all the time they keep digging holes under the fence and get into our garden, ruining anything thats planted there. We have tried covering the holes with bricks and other stuff but they always get in. Is there anything i can do to stop them getting in, like some sort of pellets that they dont like the smell of or anything :)

Get a cat! :)

Or failing that, tell your neighbours to stop letting the rabbits into your garden.

Buy a book on how to make a rabbit roast. Kill rabbit one at a time. Sit and enjoy meal. Problem solve.

I have a cat lol, but she is so scared of the great outdoors. If she hears a noise or sees a fly she runs right back in. We have told the neighbours that we are not happy at all, but it just keeps happening. Rabbit roast does sound very nice and they are big and fat too :D

I'll bring Bilbo round. He'll soon sort them out. We could have rabbit stew to celebrate too.

We've caught about 20 rabbits now thanks to Bilbo :D

lol did you train him to do that or is he naturally gifted :)

It's in his breeding, he was bred to hunt and has had a good bit of training too. The rabbits very rarely get away.

only way is to dig a trench and attach wire mesh to the bottom of the fence. Make sure its a good couple of feet in the ground. Yep it's not easy.

Are these small rabbits or the big massive ones? We used to have neighbours who had rabbits that grew to be massive. And they often beat the crap out of a cat with it's hind legs. They were quite vicious too.

Dig a foot or two below the ground where your fence is and line it with meshed fence, or depending on how much you hate the bunny rabbits, barbed/razor wire.

You can get some basic snares from a fishing tackle shop, set them up at the point of entry. You will have to warn you're neighbour first, and they're not going to like it but rabbit are vermin.

only problem is they have a habit of chasing the rabbit down its hole and they get stuck :) How many times ive had to go down with my spade and help dig my mums out!
