Recently got race 07 and GTR: Evolution, been playing with a Driving Force GT, but am quite rubbish with it atm so wondering if anyone has tips on setups(within the game and logitech profiler).

Also if anyone has Race 07 and is up for some easy victories then i'd love to try some online races :p
 
If you play online, lots of people upload setups for each car and track.

I also recommend the Mini Challenge, although there will be guys faster than you, the cars are close enough performance wise that you will always have someone to race.

But also be prepared for the inevitable cocks at the start of every race.

Nothing like loads of laps to get a good grid position, only for some **** from the back to ram you off at the first corner.
 
I use 540 on my DFGT, but it does depend on what sort of car you're racing. Open wheelers generally need less.

Stock settings in the game aren't bad, disable centre spring on the control panel, and defaults aren't bad. I've had better results without having the profiler software running in the background.
 
A mate suggested 540 on the profiler and setting each car steering degree to 18 each time. Which i have been using for the last day or so. Guess i just need more practice :p
