Hey guys,
Have been playing the demo of this, love BTCC, WTCC, F300, all of them, so I thought this game would suit me quite well, because there is no console game out that is about touring cars or semi-realistic:p

I brang my driving force pro from my PS3 upstairs especially for this, but it feels really odd. Firstly, the turning of the wheel, it only turns half way. I am usually used to 900 degrees on GT5, so this feels really hard when turning sharp corners and I just seem to come off the track at every bend, unless I brake till like 10mph:confused:

I'm trying to like it, but I don't know why it feels like this:(
The F3000 cars feel a tiny bit better because they are a lot more grippy and easier to stop but I still find myself coming off when I shouldn't

Should I just get this game and practice, will it come to me, or is it my steering wheel at 200 degrees?!
Also, any must-have mods?
Thanks guys

are you using the logitech software with your dfp. if you are you can change global settings for your wheel rotation up to 900 degrees if you want to . i think for realism on a touring car 900 is way over the top .

I understand 900 is OTT and don't want to use it in this game, but is it possible to set it slightly higher, like 250 degrees?
Because it feels way too tight when turning..

Jesus i thought i was the only 1 around here who played race07. Love it but needs a few more F1 tracks. I sudgest you go to nogripracing.com for extra tracks, skins and other things

race 07 uses a modded rfactor engine, so I can see why not many people play it. Most of the cars on RACE07 and expansions are already available for rfactor with a better engine, modding and a hell of a lot more tracks.

Installing the logitech drivers and profiler will fix your problem. I recommend using 540 degrees for realism, its something like 450 degrees for f3000.
