Race Driver GRID Not Loading

Hi all

I have installed the game and tried to load it but my PC froze, had to restart the pc (got past spalsh screen but then just blank):(

So updated the graphics driver and tried again. This time it got to the same point and then crashed to the desktop.:(

I am just downloading the patch v1.1.

Any ideas what could be the problem.

By the way I previously had the demo installed and that worked fine.

EDIT: Installed patch v1.1 but still crashes to the desktop with below details:

Have you tried removing it completely, including the demo, and trying again (preferably in diagnostic mode to ensure nothing interferes with the installation)?
 
I removed the demo before I installed the game.

Just tried it in safe mode and it loaded.:)

Changed the graphic settings to ones that worked on the demo and its fine now.:D

My game did nothing when I tried to load it.

a No CD exe fixed it (I have the full game, dont worry, its just Steam has got me used to not having to search for disks)
