Race Driver GRID problem,

Hi all, after just getting my new hard-drive i thought i would see whether GRID would install properly and it has. Played a few normal races did rubbish . However it started going super slow like a slideshow when i got to menu. I quit the game started it up again and went into Story mode. Intro was fine until it got to the race and then it went into slideshow mode again . Anyone else found this and have a solution? I have a ASUS 4850 with the offical drivers installed i think there called Catalyst 8.7's. Also i have not installed patches for the game but are downloading the 1.2 version now.

Do you have the latest patch installed? 1.2

I was getting a similar problem to you, but it was happening when I minimized.. patch 1.2 seems to have fixed this issue.

Ah now i've read the last few words of your post i realise that you have 1.2.

As TechMeh suggested heat.. the 4850's are known to run a little toasty.
