RACE Injection

It's not a new game, it's Race 07 and all the addons in one package.

Simbin has announced a new title as RACE Injection will pair up the content from RACE07 with the content from the online expansion packs that were released earlier this year.

Adding to the well-known RACE07 content are the 2010 WTCC & STCC seasons, several historic cars & a hill climb from the Retro Pack as well as state of the art GT machinery and the Formula RaceRoom open wheeler.

Just curious, how would I fare playing this game with a ordinary pc analogue gamepad?

A cordless rumblepad 2 to be specific. Thanks :)

It's a good entry to sim racing, though i found i had to make a lot of tweaks to the files to get it to run how i liked and in the end it was too much effort and i switched to other sims like Rfactor/LFS and in the end iracing.

Since buying a G27 at the start of the year I have been trying out various racing games (Dirt 2/3 Shift 2, F1 2011, Grid, iRacing, C.A.R.S). I purchased Race injection and all the other simbin expansions in the summer sale and I can't believe how long these games have been under my radar :(
I am having such a good time with this game, currently I am racing a 2008 Honda Accord WTCC through a season and dipping into a few online games (I'm rubbish, but try to race clean). Also the amount of player made content is amazing, I have downloaded 43 additional tracks to try out over the last few days and have seen things like DTM mod's which I will give a try at some point.
Also the graphics are quite nice, they are not like C.A.R.S or Shift 2, but are very functional with really nicely modelled cars and quite plain tracks which is fine.
One last thing is the handling and force feedback in the game are great, I love trying to race around with all driver aids turned off, feeling the car break away from you and sliding around if you are too hard on the brakes or throttle :)
Anyone else play this? or any tips on how to get the most out of the game?
