Downloading now so cheers for the heads up.
Will have to go a long way to be better than the ETTC2003 mod for RFactor though.

First impressions:
Awsome forcefeedback
WIPERS!

To the person above - have you made sure you turned off all driving aids? Doesnt feel arcadey to me.

I'm getting 80fps constant on my own (1280x1024, 4xAA, Full settings) so dont know why your experiencing lag (X1800XT + E6400).

1.51.3 - BMW

I guess I'll post my time first - it's not very good (made quite a few mistakes) and didnt bother making any tweaks to the setup.

Can't install it because when i click next it comes up please refer to manual? how can i refer to manual if i can't install it? and i click next again but it doesn't respond.
Never mind got it working now. :)

Just as dissapointing as the GTR2 demo.
Lightweight handling crap feedback and far to easy to drive.
After trying this and the recent GTR2 i think Simbin need to change there name as they are Arcade games not Sim games.

didnt really expect much of this, so i'm not really disapointed, i dont know why they didnt just release this as an expansion of GTR2, or GTL if you know what i mean, i dont see why they need whole new titles to themselves, i suppose licencing contracts required them to but hey what do i know, will probably buy it in any case, i'm just like that you see.

Absolute rubbish unless you are using your mouse as your controller!

Its another classic from simbin, quality FF and will only get better with the Logitech G25.

Oh yeah and if it is so easy whats your fastest time around Brands Hatch with no aids on?

He must be one of those "The harder it is the more realistic it is" guys.

It has nothing to do with how Hard it is it's about how Realistic it is. This is another Dumbed down arcade racer which most seem to prefer.
There is No sensation of speed/Braking or body roll that feels Anything like it should.
I use a Black momo by the way that is configured personally after countless years racing sims.
I currently play RFactor with my Simrace team [ISR] under the name [ISR]Wolf if you would like to see how fast or slow i am.
Here is our site http://isr.yocobox.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
Our members include some of the Fastest Sim racers in the World who i race regularly. We recently won the 2006 WLOL PCC Championship. I am by No means the fastest but i am known for my consistancy, the reason i tell you this is not to wave some kind of simulate willy at you but just to show that i am No casual Simracer.
I gave ,my opinion before which was Rudely called rubbish but i stand by what i say this is Crap.

I would like to add though that each to there own of course this is just my opinion. Those that know me can save there time and not bother wasting the bandwidth or time trying it. Others can make there own minds up.

I did not like it too much either, but then again I did not like GTR2 and this feels the same but with slower cars, will make good online racing tho :)

after having gave it another try today after last nights rather horrible try at it, it seems better. the FFb doesnt seem to work at 100%, but setting to 99 fixes that, and i have to say that the FFB is a lot better than GTR2 and rfactor (having driven many hours on both with various settings). the graphics are quite nice, and run pretty well on my system.

The version of brands is, imo, quite accurate, apart from the stretch in between paddock hill and druids, in real life (from video's ive watched) you get a bit of a run up to druids, but in this version you come out of paddock hill and have to start braking straight away. otherwise, its very good. the kerb at dingle bell is absolutely viscious.

the physics might not be realistic, but having never driven a WTCC car i cant compare, so i dont bother myself with whether its realistic or not. i just base it on whether its fun to drive, which it actually is. its not anywhere near the same league as LFS, but its fun for a quick blast around brands. this looks like a very early build anyway, lets hope they can improve on the problems.
