Race wtcc fps problems

Hey guys, im having real big problems with the FPS in this game, cant get it over 20 fps or more, but with GTR/2 and GTL and LFS i can run 60fps all day on max settings, yet Race will only just get to 20 with everything on LOW..

system is as follows, E6300 @ 3.2 -GeIL 2GB PC6400C4 800MHz - x1800XT 512

and it cant handle race???? something ain't right, also tried the affinity to 1 and still no difference

RACE does run quite a bit slower than GTR2 at the same detail levels, but have a browse around the forum below for some advice :
