that i can use real day to day cars. I really enjoyed Forza 1 on the Xbox becasue i could drive relativly ordinary cars if i wanted. I have GRID which i enjoyed but got bored of quickly becasue all the cars where so ya know, fast. No normal cars.

Also i have a G25 so thats a factor.

Any games out there meeting this description?

NFS shift is appallingly bad with a G25, which is a shame really.

The best arcadey game I've found for the G25 is Dirt2, also worth a mention is Test drive unlimited which works pretty well with the wheel, and you also get to drive lots of different "normal cars"

If you want to make the most of your wheel though, you want to be looking at some of the sims out there, stuff like Rfactor, Race 07, LFS etc etc.

This. :)

Really great fun.

I agree it's great with a 360 controller, but a complete load of carp with the G25, unless you like the feeling of floating around the race track :p

I've tried countless different setups, but still can't get it feeling right.

I didn't get on with Shift at all, can't even get the 360 controller to feel right, just no downforce and lots of sliding about.

With a G25, you're looking at sims to get the most from it. Some already mentioned, but Race 07/GTR:Evo, Live for speed, rfactor, GT Legends. Many of these have mods and some mundane cars included!

The non-sims I play are GRID, DiRT, DiRT 2, Burnout Paradise etc.

i thought tdu was great fun with a g25...cruising about in known road cars and being able to make use of the clutch and gear stick.

I have a 4 year old MOMO wheel and it works just great. :)
