Before I go any further are emulation programs legal? Can we discuss them, even the ones you have to pay for?

The emulator may be legal, but its unlikely that the game rom is so i suspect we cant really go much further with that.

supercars was brilliant. Used to love annihilating opponents once i'd upgraded my engine to the third level or whatever it was.

The current state of Legal Amiga Emulation is...

You can buy a legal, fully licensed Amiga emulation package from http://www.amigaforever.com/ called Amiga Forever *surprisingly* which is pretty damn good. Well - it's WinUAE so it's the best around.

However - the games that comes with it are frankly crap.

But, there are several companies that have released some of their games for use with the Amiga emulators.

Eg: Team17, Cineware, Factor 5, Ian Bell *of Elite Fame

And thats available from several sources - none of which I'm mentioning here even though they are legal because certain people are too jumpy about these things.
