Wasn't quite sure what section to put this in but here goes...

Strange request here folks, but could someone recommend me a racing game (preferably a simuation type rather than arcade) either for the Xbox 360 or PC that has Thruxton race track on it?

I thought Toca would have had it but after having a nose around, it doesn't appear to?

Planning on doing the Vxr Thruxton day in July, so fancy getting a few laps under my belt first. ;)

Thanks. :)

Toca 2 is probably my all time favourite racing game, spent many an hour on it as a young un.

not sure of any racing games with it in though. There's probably a few mods to get it in GTR, or those sort of hardcore sim type games.

have a look in the pc games section.

Wrong Forum.

Forza is the way forward :)

(Correction: Not sure if it has the track you want though :))

Might be a better idea to get some youtube videos and see how other drivers attack the circuit. You don't want to be trying lines that worked in the game only to find out they are rubbish.

Ever watch the top gear where Clarkson tried that with the NSX, not sure what track it was though, somewhere in america

Jedi reactions there Janesy

I think i've got Toca Race Driver in the attic somewhere so I might have to have a looky. Can't seem to get wiki to load at the moment to check for sure.

I have Forza, I had my Vxr at the ready but could not find the track :(.

Edit - Found Toca Race Driver but there is no track listing and the ****ing wiki link won't load, i'm sure it had the track listing on there last time I looked.

The game will give you a good idea of the track layout. Once you see a bend, you should know what line to use ;)

I wasn't really planning on trying it out for lines or anything. Just wanted to mess about and get used to the track a little. Obviously in real life it'll be different, but there's no harm in having a little drive around first!

Not checked but rFactor will almost definately have a version of Thruxton (or 20) available for download...

GTR 2 definitely has it

i'm pretty sure Toca Race Driver has it too, probably even TRD2

and toca 2 was the **** :D

i believe toca race driver 3 has it, and its available on steam for the price of £5.99

bah, my memory fails. its Toca2 as previously stated. bargin price for toca3 tho!

I've been playing it recently, pretty fun game if not just becasue of the sheer variety of cars. Paticularly enjoyed the 1930's mercedes, and the 1970s gp cars.

going round spa, awesome.
