Yes, played rFactor and bought it. It is worth the money. LFS is as well I think but you don't like it so fair enough.

You can also download a demo of the latest rFactor version. Go to rfactor.com and try it out.

Did you put it in simulation mode and turn off all the driver aids? It's not immediately apparent, but by default you drive with it in arcade mode with everything turned on...

I assume you only tried the demo with the hatchbacks.

Buy the full game and jump in the BF1 (Sauber), you wont think it's slow then.

LFS lack speed? If you can then try the full game with faster cars, the three in the demo are quite limp and are not used much for racing. The F1 car doesnt give you time to think at all. The racing cars are the most used so id recommend trying those if you can as they are a lot nicer to drive than the basic cars you get in the demo.

If your looking for something else then check out rfactor and GT Legends as they are supposed to be good. If you fancy rally games then richard burns rally is meant to be the daddy.

its either that or he/she played too much arcade games which do tend to speed things up to make the game funner.
