Which console has the best Racing games Xbox one or ps4. I know forza is a cracker. But what ps4 got to offer that great. Drive club but is it as good. the crew?? Any good?

drive club on ps4 now
gt7 ps4 whenever they decide to release it
project cars in March 2015 on ps4 and x1 if it doesn't get delayed again.

then there is forza 5 and horizon 2 on x1.

I personally didn't get the feel for forza 5 like I did with forza 3 on the 360 back when I owned a Xbox 360. Haven't played horizon 2.

drive club after a rocky start (abysmal actually ) after months of broken online has now been pretty much fixed and includes some of the best visuals, simcade handling and the best weather effects I've seen in an arcade racing title.. very addictive to try and beat other racers times.. fantastic hot lap ghost system where you try and best online players ghost times..

or Mario kart 8 lol

I am still stuck on buying a xb1 or ps4. This is where I sm
Trying to decide.

Wii U is going be under the tree for the daughter anyway.

It just which ps4 or xb1 to join it under the tree am

I used to be an avid Gran Turismo 1-4 fan but when Forza released there was something about that game that just got me addicted and since then I've never felt a desire to go back to GT. I tried GT 6 Complete Edition but I'm so out of touch with it now I really couldn't get into it. Doesn't give me the same draw in effect that Forza does.

I also have to say that Horizon 2 has been an uber blast fest! I haven't had so much fun in ages. Haven't enjoyed the open roads quite as much as this in quite some time. I guess the question left is to decide whether you want "open roads" or "closed circuits"? I'm sure DriveClub is a great game on its own right. Being a massive car game enthusiast I went with the XB1 because not only do I have Motorsport for my more serious racing but I also have Horizon 2 for when I want to have a blast without having to play competitively and reaching out for my hair whenever things go wrong hahaha! As for the Crew I'm not in position to comment but from what I've read it can be a blast if you have a group of friends to play it with eitherwise it doesn't appear to be anything special.

And if neither interest you, well then there's always the top racing game of them all "Mario Kart 8!"

Drive club gifs from the drive club thread..

It really does look like this in fact those gifs don't do it justice... I'm a huge racing fan myself.

I got an xbox 360 just for Forza games, I loved forza 3, superb game. I was so utterly disappointed with Forza 5 when I got to play it, it felt nothing like Forza 3 and just seemed an empty game, huge step backwards.

GT6 on the Ps3 was gorgous to look at for a Ps3 title and handled lovely - better then all forza games IMO but the sounds.. ooh nasty, horrible sounds.

Drive club engine sounds are simply amazing, but its more simcade...

Its tricky, Drive club has got my racing game itch sorted now its working, but I do understand, forza should be high on my lists, but i've sorta said to myself the game isn't worth the outlay for the console anymore..

So stuck with PS4 and I'm a early access on steam to project cars, and I've got high hopes for it...

So seems the Ps4 is now ticking the racing genre boxes... Asked me this 3 months or 6 months ago I'd have said.. No, racing games on PS4 not to bother, but now its looking very good indeed..

XB1 has the better racing titles, Forza 5 if you want a sim based experience while Horizon 2 caters for the more fun racing and is way more fun than driveclub on the PS4 which while looking pretty does not really excite.

Thanks guys. Dunno how people make easy choice. I suppose it depends on the deal
At game too. Ps4 seem good offers at 349.99 with 3 games at moment.

If that's the Argos deal then yep it's a good price. Decision was simple for me because I am a huge fan of racing games and the XB1 in my opinion has the best lineup to cater for my tastes. What simplies my decision even more is because I always end up getting all 3 consoles anyway.
