Who thinks that the racing series are getting far too over-regulated and restrictive in what is allowed and what is not?
I'd love to go to Group B style rally of "anything goes", back to the early to mid 80s in F1 which had ground effects, turbos and so on.
Even Honda have come out and said the following:
Or is it just me wanting to let the engineers run wild and create the FASTEST car they can period; rather than the fastest car within the regs.
I think the only safety requirements that the cars should have is that the crash structures must survive an impact at top speed with a stationary object, and that wheels must not fly off the car on impact. Beyond these safety regs; anything goes.

F1 is becoming less of a medium in which companies can test their various strengths and more of an event with mounting restrictions
