Racing/simulation games for drifting mainly?

Are there any good games for drifting online, I hate games like NFS where you powerslide and don't actually drift.

Original GRID has drift challenges, lots of fun. Not sure if the sequel has that too.

Shame that MotorSport Forza 4 isn't out on PC

Maybe Asseto Corsa will be a good copy of it... When you look at screenshots these games look so identical.

NFS Shift has drifting in it, but it's probably best played with a controller than a wheel.

rFactor has some proper drift mods, but you definitely need a wheel and be damn good and fast with it as it is hard to do: http://onlinedrifting.com/rfactor/drift-mods

Tried it with xbox 360 controller + special config downloaded from rfactor forums and drift modes. Lots of spins out, the car is very unpredictible...

Sims don't really work well with pads, you need a wheel to extract the fidelity on offer.

I've been playing Codemaster's Fuel recently, and there's a lot of drifting in that. Fuel has never been very popular, but I don't understand why, I think it's great.

well when the title says racing/simulation, I assumed he was after something more serious than arcade racers, but maybe not considering he is on a pad. But i can't recommend any as i don't play arcade racers.

It doesn't have to be too serious as I don't have a wheel, I'm just looking for a fun game were you have to be more flexible by the way you choose parts, setups and overall technique.
Forza 4 is very close to a game which would be perfect for me, but it doesn't concentrate on drifting that much as I would like it to.
I got bored of forza 4 because of the lack of maps on which you can drift online...
Game like Rfactor 1 or 2 doesn't make sense without a wheel, the simulations I would say are too relistic for a casual gamer

In that case I would recommend you having a closer look at Fuel. Arcady, fun, gigantic world with loads of racetracks and vehicles (and vehicle types) to choose from (and unlock) and that requires great amounts of drifting.
Highly recommended by me but hardly anybody else.
