Whats the best way to flush a rad and or blocks?

I've seen people say hot water and i've also seen them kits with everything in them but i don't really want to spend any money unless it's a couple of quid.

Personally I just use de-ionised water with some white vinegar added

Heat it in the kettle, pour it into the radiator & give the rad a good shake

Empty into a bowl

Keep repeating until nothing is visible in the water

Sweet thanks, I'll grab some de-ionised water, fairly sure i've got some at work for some weird reason!

Guessing this will be fine with blocks too?

I also use de-ionised water and white vinegar but heat the water up in a kettle first. I then mix the water with white vinegar in a measuring jug and pout into the rad, leave it for 10-15 mins and then give it a good shake before emptying. Keep going until clear. Blocks should be stripped down to properly clean them.
