Just wondering what fixtures&fittings are usually packaged with water cooling radiators?

I've seen pics in the gallery of fans mounted onto the rad which are then mounted on the case, how is this done fixture-wise?

Is it possible to have the case wall sandwiched between the two? fan->case>rad
i.e fan on inside, rad on the outside? again fittings supplied with the rad?

cheers

Another Q!

Is it really nessacery to wash out/de-gunk current WC components as in the sticky?

My fans are mounted with a screw which goes into the case, through the fan and into the rad. The screws came with the Thermochill rad.

I'd only bother with the rad. Best to use warm water to get it cleaned out. If you don't do it then you'll end up with little bits of slime in the waterblocks.

As said above if its Thermochill wash it with boiling water till its clear. I wouldn't wash much else, but always disassemble any block or pump housing, you'd be amazed at the swarf I've found over the years.
