I want to run shrouds on my rads to reduce noise a little and eek a little more cooling performance out of them but can't seem to find any screws that are suitable
The rads in question are an XSPC RS120 and an EK240 I'm assuming they're both m3 screws which nobody seems to stock.

I think they're M4, but I may well be wrong. Easy enough to check. You can probably buy them locally, failing that I am certain you can buy M4 or M3 screws online.

Example

It's likely to be a couple of quid for four from a watercooling shop, or around 25 a quid from an engineering shop. You call. I quite like allen headed bolts.

Just looked at the above website as well as searching ebay etc and M3 and M4 are hard to come by any longer than 40mm which is a problem going through 2 fans into a rad and needing 55-60mm shank length, I might just use studding with a nyloc nut on the end

I recently bought 30 M4x35 long button head socket screws and a metre of m4 threaded bar for £4 from www.bapp.co.uk. Luckily for me they have a shop in my town, its well handy for bits and bobs like this.

A thing you have to be careful about in buying screws longer than 35mm is they are not always threaded the full length of the screw, so depending on the actual length you need you may be unlucky and not have the thread where you need it if they are *too* long. I.e., don't just go for the longest thinking you can just hacksaw them to length. Buy and large screws named as "setscrews" will be treaded the whole length, but it pays to check.

Just found some on the bay

M4 x 60 STAINLESS ALLEN BOLT CAP SCREW 10 + 10% Free
M3 x 60 STAINLESS ALLEN BOLT CAP SCREW 10 + 10% Free

11 of each in total for £8

20 mm threaded on each and only 5mm thread is needed to go into the rad anyway.
