Radeon 3850 1024MB

Hey guys,

I've just upgraded to this card, but my settings are saying it only has 512MB of dedicated video memory, and yet I bought it under the impression that it has 1024MB of video DDR3 (I think). Is this normal or is my card wrong?

No idea, it's a completely fresh install! I'll download it now. Is there a piece of software that can tell me what my CPU is clocked at as well? Just want to make sure it's overclocked properly. (I bought it overclocked from OCUK).

It says 512MB as well, but there are two graphics cards. Is it a dual core thing by any chance, with two sets of 512MB?

Did you buy the 1gig 3850X2? if so its 512Mb per GPU.

If so make sure crossfire is enabled so you get the max performance out of it.

Duh! Yeah that's the one Can you tell I'm out of touch? How do I enable Crossfire?

In the driver control panel, right click on the desktop and select Catalyst control centre.

I have done, but there isn't a Crossfire option in sight. I have the latest drivers, etc.

Crossfire will be the option after Overdrive.
