Radeon 5870 black screen problem

I've recently bough a new rig and it works well, I've been playing Bad Company 2 at max settings on my Radeon 5870.

The thing is during gameplay and on windows desktop as well sometimes, I'll get a black screen during 1-2 seconds and then it goes back correctly, I'm really wondering what could cause this.

I checked the temperatures and everything seems fine (Quad core at 40-45°, GPU at 55°) that's during idle though I'd need to check during a game of battlefield.

Anyone ever had this happen? What could cause this? I might try different drivers at the moment I have the latest one. My PSU is a Corsaire 520W by the way.

Personally id say forget temps..
mines never gone above 50c
but if i clock it even a bit i get flickering screeens
drivers are the issue and ive tried the lot , hopefully they will get it sorted asap

okay so basically no solution beside waiting for new drivers?

this is a known issue, 10.3 drivers released this month as suppose to sort this

I hope they do as i too have this problem
