Radeon 6770 help

So I finally got a second Radeon 6770 card with the same clock speed and everything, but I seem to have encountered an error: The new GPU doesn't have a crossfire slot for some reason, I looked all over the GPU and there is no slot for the bridge to connect... I have booted up my system and ran the PSO2 benchmark and the performance is LOWER!!!

Have I just wasted my money? Should I run any programs to increase support on my GPU's? Why was the benchmark score suddenly lower?

Yep, 2 slots although my second 6770 is XFX HD 6770 the new one (which I bought a few days ago) is an ASUS HD 6770.
