So NDA to say you don't talk about NDA . You are talking jibberish.

6800xt & 6800 was under no such NDA and gibbo made a post saying they will start to sell from 2pm in limited numbers on the day.

It's a simple question will ocuk be selling 6900xt today from 2pm.

clearly you don't understand how NDA's work. I do things like this for a living mate and there can be all sorts of do's and dont's on these things.

Hi there

Launch is at 2PM today, you won't be able to buy anything from OcUK at 2PM, you will just be able to browse MBA design product.

We will make product available to order when we see fit, most likely later this week or next week and as usual I shall give a heads up on the OcUK forum in the GPU section a couple of minute before going live, we have around 100 and we expect them to sell out within around 30s even with doing an under the radar style launch.

We will not be taking back orders, if we do over sell when we make them available, the over sold orders will be cancelled and refunded, this is not because any more are coming but simply because we are unwilling to take back orders any more.

Appreciate the answer mate.

The only other alternative I could think that might help in this situation would be to implement some kind of ticket reservation system:
  1. Customer can chooses to reserve an item and is told they will be informed when the item is available for them to purchase. A ticket is assigned to their account.
  2. As stock becomes available it is assigned to the tickets.
  3. System sends an email to the customer with a link to purchase that item with a set expiry time (say 24h-48h)
  4. If the customer does not purchase the item using that link within the time, the stock is assigned to the next ticket.

The main problem with this is it will require additional development time and cost to implement and test.
just like what evga are doing in the states.
