Hey team,

I am looking into getting a new system as my current one is 5 years old and is now starting to show its age a little bit. I do not really have any requirements apart from it has to be a Ryzen CPU
and the new 9070XT. Could any one pit some ideas on how to get the best bang for my buck at 1440p gaming? I want to spend between £1500-£2000 if possible.

Here's a max budget 9070 XT build.

Please note that the Nitro was the only card I was able to add to the cart, I'm not suggesting you buy one (if it was me, I definitely would not, due to their use of a 16 pin connector).

If you want USB4, you'll need to upgrade the motherboard to X870. I have purposely avoided ASRock due to the X3D issues recently reported in the tech news, but they do have cheaper B850 boards.

An easy way to cut costs would be downgrade the storage from 4TB to 2TB (the 2TB T500 is £100) and lose 32GB of memory (or go with a 48GB kit instead).

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,007.78 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Ahh this is the brand new card??? Hope whatever you choose you enjoy your system.
