Yeah, old card, but just picked one up cheap to use in a spare PC, and thought i'd give it a quick overclock (as I do with all my hardware) to see what it can do.

Its on cat 3.6 based Omega Drivers, and currently ATiTool'ing itself to "find max core". Its default core/mem is 250/200, but its still working away currently at 385MHz Core, which seems high to me

Its a long shot, but can anyone shed some light on the max overclocks they have had out of a 9550? ta!

Radeon 9550's are just speedbinned 9600 series cards which have stock core clocks of anywhere between 350 and 500mhz. Keep going. :)

Sometimes the Auto Clocking function overruns a bit. Might be worth stopping it at a certain point then running the artifact scanner at that speed to test it.

It bummed out at 492MHz, but seems totally stable at 475MHz (or so a looping 3dmark demo shows so far), so i'll leave it at that and start on the mem.

You can go realy high on the core with no problems but the memory sucks on those cards. You can flash the cards with 9600 bios and that makes a real difference if you find the correct bios.

Although an old card you can clock the bits off it and is not back for a second system or back up.
