Could someone please clarify this? Does the R7 260x support 2-4x crossfire? On the specs it does state crossfirex support but doing some googling a couple of reviews state it does not support crossfirex???

Basically I am building up a machine and would like a gpu to be playing a few games and do a little designing but would like the option to add cards to improve performance if I want to play at higher than 720p/900p and that is the ideal way to do it without forking out a load for a gpu at this time.

260x 2-4x crossfire? you mean 2 in 4x PCIe slots?, i don't think so, you would need two 8x or 16x PCIe slots.

Are you getting them both new? Two 260X amounts to 1792 Cores, why don't you just get one 280X which has 2048 Cores?

Nah I mean 2-4 cards in a the system.

I can get the 260x for £85 a piece so 2 are £170 and the cheapest 280X is £230. And it also gives me the flexibility to add cards at a later date to improve performance rather than forking out for an expensive card now..
