Just ordered the Asus Strix model for £480 which is £130 over RRP (£350) sound reasonable to me for premium model. Have 1440p ultrawide with UHD630 (can't go ahead 2d indie games) on desperation gave it a chance on playing maybe medium-high settings (most games on ultra around 50-60fps) until 4080 release. I was considering used 1080 ti on another retailer which offers 2 years warranty but the it's a complete lottery and found out 6600XT actually on par, newer, less energy consumption and I can't get any RTX FE due to another bought earlier on my address.

I found mixed reviews about it but non-rtx performance sits between 3060 and 3060 ti

What do you think about this card? Is £480 really worth it considering 3070 "FE" is same price?

I paid £429 for the Asrock ITX on launch day and i'm "reasonably" happy with it. It handles most non ray-traced games just fine at 1440p. I just wish it wasn't at the same price point as the 5700XT was a couple of years ago, for near enough the same performance.

Regarding the 3070 - if you're happy to play the game to get one, i'd go for it. I'm a linux gamer myself so going AMD was a no-brainer.

Looking at the Asus Strix RX6600XT it's £499.99 on overclocker's now wouldn't pay anything over £400.
Still well overpriced it's at 43% more then RRP now, rather wait 6 month's must think gamers are suckers.
