Radeon settings not applying correctly

Hi guys. I am running dual 4870x2's.

My problem is: My AA settings etc are not seeming to work in games.

Example: I set 24x edge detect in world of warcraft and log into the game. I have jaggies all over the place. Now, I go back and turn off AA altogether and open world of warcraft again....perfect lines that are antialiased.

Makes no sense.


Also, I force 24x edge detect, max AF, trans AA, everything to max and fire up Dead Space. Same thing, jagged lines everywhere like the AA is not working.

I know it is not a windows problem as this is my third reinstall of Vista64 recently to try to fix the problems. The problem has also persisted over the last 3 versions of the ati drivers.

Have you tried ATi Tray Tools instead of the CCC to do all your settings, loads of people swear by that, ive never had any probs here though with settings not applying, but thats on a 4850.

Yea Its a real pain with these settings.
