Hi i know i'm a bit late to the game but this superb piece of software was mentioned in another thread, so for all those that don't know about it you can get it from here:http://www.radeonpro.info/en-US/

Its a profile editor, benchmarking etc tool.
Unfortunatly they aren't supporting it anymore but its still usable.
So anyone who have tips on using it please post.
The one thing i have found on benchmarking is the auto stop benchmarking doesn't seem to work:confused: I can start and stop with a hotkey but i would like a 60 second benchmark but it continues to benchmark, any ideas?

A bit you can make your own profiles so when you start a game it changes the overclocks and you can get deep into it with scripts AA,v-sync etc
Regards

Anything like MSI AB?

Not really clee, about the only thing similar is taking screenshots.:D

It's more a CrossFire profile/IQ editor than anything else where as AB as you know, is foremost for overclocking/cooling.

It was more useful before CCC let you make your own profiles for CrossFire when there wasn't any available or CrossFire simply wouldn't work.

It could force custom profile overrides, that was handy too, I would say it's more like an enhanced CCC that lets you tweak AA levels etc.

Used it at first when I went CrossFire, but it became redundant for me when CCC got it's act together in regards to custom profiles.

Mmmmm still can't get the auto stop to work, thought it might be an afterburner conflict but no, also tried Chrome as when you look at the benchmarks, even though you can look at the results it says svg supported in chrome, firefox ect so i ran bf3 from chrome but still auto doesn't work.
Still good though!

It's still very useful, and you can do things you cant do with CCC.
For instance, I use RadeonPro to force VSync on in Dead Space (after switching it off in game - this avoids a mouse lag bug).

When I got the CCC version that allowed manual application profiles, i planned to set this up in CCC, but when I went to create a dead space profile, it said "CCC already has a profile for this game, do you want to overwrite it?"

I looked for the profile and it wasn't visible to me, and I realised it was referring to the games entry in the CAP, which i have no way of accessing or editing.

So, to enable VSync on for this game only - or make any modifications to any games included in the CAPS, it appears I have to delete any performance optimisations added by the CAP for that game. That's not a good solution.

Radeonpro coexists with the CAPS, and allows you to add further optimisations to existing games, or override just the ones you want without deleting the existing performance optimisations.

My post was for informing clee that it's not really like AB mate, I don't use it any more as I explained, I have no need for it now.

If I need it again, no doubt I'll use it.

:)

My post was addressing your comment that RadeonPro wasn't needed any more. I was just pointing out to others there are still advantages to using RadeonPro even though CCC has come along way.
