Radiation overdose :(

It doesnt say if it was the cancer or the radiation that killed her in the end, wont be good if it was the radiation.

my gran had radiation therapy after her cancer and she now suffers guillen barrett syndrome (attacks on the muscles making it incredibly painful to even move) its not nice!

It said her tumour had gone, so it was the radiation.

Mistakes can happen, but when it happens that number of times, staff have to be fired and prosecuted for neglect, they can blame it on computers or equipment but staff should be keeping an eye on things like that and any errors that pop up. This will haunt her family now for the rest of their lives. RIP :(

Inexcusable. Once or twice are accidents that can never be truly prevented, but 17 times+ is just sheer negligence. :(

just read some of the other links about her story on bbc and its truly saddening

the sadest thing is the cancer was actually beaten and it seems the radiation is what killed her ? :(

mis calculations happen its very unfortunate but no one is perfect 100% of the time and demanding criminal charges and such is not going to achieve anything really.

17 times on the same person in less than a year! That's neglect not misfortune.
