Just got a simple cpu kit for my first build with water cooling, looking inside the radiator it doesn't look incredibly clean. Do you need to wash them out before using them, do you use malt vinegar solutions decreasing in strength until it is clean?

No need to use vinegar, as the flux is now soluble in water :)

Use tap water, cold first, then warm (not too hot!) and finally with distilled. Continue the process until no new deposits are found in the water.

If you live in an area of extremely hard water, then just use cold and warm distilled water.

I used hot Distilled water to flush my rad out, fill it up and let it sit for a few minutes. I then drained about a third out and did the shaky shaky with some stops on the rad for a few minutes. Empty the remaining water into a bowl and look for flux particles. Repeat the process until the water is clear. A towel is nice to wrap the rad up in if the water is particularly hot.
