Will the following single 280mm rad be sufficient to cool a 9900K & RTX 2080Ti?
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-coolstream-ce-280-dual-radiator-wc-99h-ek.html

Plan to use these fans in pull config with it:

or will this 360 serve me better?
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-water-blocks-ek-coolstream-pe-360-triple-radiator-wc-488-ek.html

are there any rads I should consider?

my case is a Phanteks Evolv m-atx, gives me 75mm of space between the front mount point & GPU, ideally would like to keep the rad/fan combo down to about 70mm

might need San Ace's trusty 38mm thick 120's at 40dB!

to do a single 360 rad, you'd be looking at Black ICE GTX 360 or PE 360 but with silent wings 3 140mm that are running at 100% or high speed version for same sound rating but more airflow and static pressure

https://www.ekwb.com/custom-loop-configurator/step3

your looking at 600w to cool, PE 360 can handle 597w MAX with EK Vador fans AT MAX! XE 360 from EKWB is 740w again this is running fans at 90-100%...

water temp with PE will be warm, i mean you'll actually be able to touch the tubes and feel the heat , 35-45c... if you can push pull! great, means can shift more air and turn down the fans to lower speed at cost of size increase and cost!

Thanks for the link to the configurator.
I may have to consider going with 2 rads, just need to work out what fits where.
Really don't want to get a new case

Gentle Typhoons.... sweet spot right there ! swiftech tried so hard to copy too

evolve matx with SE 360 and silent wing 3 on MAX

I Believe 240 will fit in the top as well, or 280 and 240 but DO NOT GET SE versions

this is what you want !!

Is there any particular reason I should avoid the SE?

Theoretically I can go 38mm 360 in the front (as I forgot the factor in the extra 12mm the EK GPU black adds) with a slim 240 on top.

FYI that EX radiator although it sounds thicker at 35mm the actual radiator is about 10mm thinner at least inside the frame... To the point where it might as well be the thinner one there also. If you can fit a chunkier one in then have a look at maybe alphacool or similar.

Thanks for the above info, I did notice this.

I found some time this morning to take some proper measurements.
With my case I will have 68mm between the end of the GPU block and the front mount position.
Adding a fan leaves me with a total of 43mm of rad space, my guess is 35mm rad would be my max, this leaves 8mm between GPU and fan/rad. Or would I be okay with a 40mm leaving 3mm space between rad/fan and GPU block?

After a little reading I’m thinking of getting the Hardware Labs Nemesis GTS rads.

360 in front with a 240 or 280 top.
I’m reading that these rads are restrictive, so will the EK DDC 3.2 be powerful enough?

When I had your case I couldn't put a 280 in the top the fans would hit the 8pin cpu power.

If you do 240 on top you can mount the fans outside but still under the top grill. Then you can put a 45mm rad in and not cover the motherboard

I’ve had 280 aio in the top before, just had to keep all the wireing clean.

I didn’t think there was enough space to have fans on outside/top. Airflow would definitely be an issue on top.

Not sure. I’ve had to put the build on hold for a while due to work commitments.

Case arrived couple of days ago & l’ve moved my rig into it. Just not had a chance to get/sort out the rest of the WC kit.

Picked up a Black Ice 360SR2 on MM so will add a 360GTS. It’s prob going to be sometime next week until I get time to plan the build and order all the bits in.
