For an all-in-one-cooler I used the CPU fan port, but if I put in a custom loop which cools both CPU and GPU - where do I plugin the radiator fans? and how best to control them? based on keeping both CPU and GPU temps within acceptable levels.

It's an Asus Maximus VIII impact, I have a fan connection board.

I dont know if asus comes with its own fan controller software, if it does you should be able to plug in the fans to a few of your motherboard fan headers and set them up in there.

If the board doesnt come with software or its not very good then i would suggest Speedfan, its a free program lots of us use that allows you to select your fan headers and set up a can furve based on any sensors in your system incuding CPU and GPU temps. Theres a few google guides how to set up speed fan.

Thanks, in that case I expect I should be able to control it from the motherboard software then. It seems like it would handle it, just wanted to check that was the way.

cheers!
