Hi all, basically I have a 360 rad with 120 fans, the fans are connected to the Phanteks PWM in slots 1,2,3 then I have the 140 exhaust in slot 4 and slot 5 and 6 both have 2 x 140 on two splitters. The PWM is connected to CPUFAN1 which is 4 Pin so all should be fine.
However, whilst everything is idle the CPU had been hitting high 30s / low 40s. I reapplied thermal paste, re-seated everything so I could tidy up the cables in the back and reinstall windows (new year, fresh start etc). The fans in the case are running fine and hitting their speeds correctly when temp/speed is met but the three 120 fans aren't kicking in unless I manually tune the fans which in turn turns everything up in sync because they are all running through the same PWM.
My question is why are the three 120s not running in sync with the other fans and save for buying a dedicated fan controller (yet another day of reading reviews) is there a solution.
I will add that once I turn the 120s up to say 50% the CPU sits idle at 29c at 4.4ghz.
Any comeback is appreciated.
