Radiator flow direction

Quick one, are radiators generally universal when it comes to flow direction?
I.E can you use either port as in/out or are they like CPU blocks & have to flow in a certain direction?

i think only the CPU and pump flow direction are the 2 to double check

Generally they are universal although one of my rads from Black Ice states a preferred configuration for optimum cooling.
