Hey, I'm going to start a build using the PC P80 and wondering about what you guys think about the mounting of a lare rad on the back of the case (560mm or 480mm) for a GPU loop. What I'm concerned about is that it might not look too great on this case (I'v seen several people **** it off) so was wondering what you thought?
The only other option would be a CNC routed cabinet for it to stand on :s
Thanks

This case is big enough without a rad dangling off the back!!

Besides, the case interior will start to feel lonely and inadequate if you don't pop that bad boy inside mounted to the base!

In all seriousness, once you move the hard drive trays up a few notches inside the you will have plenty room for a 480. Not sure about more but I could measure up tomorrow if you like?

gary,

any pix of that?

am uhhming and ahhing where to mount my 480 rad (which just arrived :D)

was originally going to go for sucking up off the floor but am now tempted to open up the side insetad...

I've seen quite a few builds with this case, which is why I bought it.

I've seen 480s flat on the floor, on side on the floor, mounted up the front drive bays too. You can also get the Thermochill 140.3 in the front drive bays too. Someone on XS did it, as it is JUST thin enough.

I personally plan a bit of a different mod to those.

Hey, thanks sorry for the late reply. It's just I didn't want any of the PCI brackets obstructed by a rad just incase i wanted pleanty of gpus in the re in the future
