Now its a bit colder at night the heating has come on.
Problem is that the rads downstais are fine but the ones upstairs arent coming on so its cold :(

i've tried bleeding the radiators and there doesnt appear to be any air locks in them as its only water coming out and no air. Pump is on full but nothing to do with that either.

Running a back boiler system.

Any plumbers with any smart ideas here that i could try??

Im going to now turn the heating off for 10 mins and then try and re-bleed all rads in the house - read a post via a google search that you cant bleed while rads are on? I would have thought a system under pressure would be better to force circulation??

cheers ;)

EDIT: Oh dear, completely wrong section!! Mods, please move to GD when you get a chance!!

ok ill give that a try St0rmer, cheers :)

Didnt seem to work :( Ear against cold radiator i can hear stuff moving but hether thats just from downstairs im not sure. Theres no air locks as water comes out straight away when opening the valves.

Think ill have to resort to a plumber to look at things. Theres a pipe that runs under the floor in the bedroom at just the right spot when i swing my feet out on a cold morning that i miss right now!!
