Hi guys,
One of the thermostat valve thingys on a radiator in my house had broke off somehow. I was wondering if they're easy to replace? It looks just like a matter of undoing it from the rad and the pipe and putting a new one on there but I thought I'd check if (apart from the obvious wetness) there are any other hidden dangers awaiting me there.
Also, is this the kind of thing I'd need to buy:

Its just a standard central heating system by the way. Nowt fancy.

Ta!

Cheers for the responses guys!
The thermostat has actually snapped so its the whole valve I'll need to replace. When you say drain the whole system, do you mean literally let all the water run out when the valve bit is taken off (obviosuly with the boiler inactive)?
