Hi,

I use a corsair H100i and wanted to get more screws for the rad (only comes with long screws, I want to mount the fans pushing air out of the case, not pulling out). What size screws does the rad use? 6-32, M4? Where can I get a set of black ones? (Saw OCUK had a set but they're out of stock, so would a competitor be okay in this case?)

Cheers. :)

Tep if it's any help I have run a H60 but the screws lost their thread and I can not get the screws anywhere, I did try to get in touch with Corsair but without much luck ie they never got back to me ....so if I fit it i have to use Cable Ties

Although I have heard maybe try a model shop would be a good idea

Fairly sure corsair units are 6-32 UNC thread, should be able to buy them online if you don't have a y places near you that sell them :)

Edit: you're in Aberdeen, try steadfast ;)

Yeah, I'll have to give a looksie, I want black oxide ones as it'll fit my 750D better.

I did find some on a watercooling site, but they're all allen key threaded, not phillips. Will have to settle for that I suppose.

Basically after these types:

But in black oxide. The only black oxide type I find are these:

I just have no idea how big that head is, because I don't want it to cause bumps in the top vent cover of the 750D.

Hey guys,

Found a site that'll let me order them. It is the socket cap but oh well, the cap is only 2.8mm tall anyway.

For short screws I'd be looking at 6-32 x 1/4"
For long screws I'd be looking at 6-32 x 1 1/4"

Is this correct? I'm aware the longer screws have issues where if you don't put them in washers they can strip into the fins of the radiator, so I was looking at the 6-32 x 1" as well, but that would probably be too much on the short side, would it?

Any info would be appreciated. :)

if you search that well known auction website thats where i got mine from 6/32 unf in 5mm length i had to search for some 35mm length as my fractal case the front plastic was slightly to thick to use the normal 30mm screws to mount the rad/fans. try searching for 6/32 5mm machine screw or fan screw you will find them on there.

cheers, damien.
