Hi All,

Looking at a future upgrade and move to water-cooling I'll be looking to cool the following

RYZEN 9 5950X
"BIG NAVI"

The build is in an In-win 103 case, and I am looking at a 240mm back radiator and disto plate, I think I can fit a 30mm 360mm radiator at the bottom(with only 2 fans in use, and also if needed a rear 120mm.

Wanting to keep the tubing flows as clean as possible so was thinking if needed

60mm back 240mm
30mm bottom 360mm xFlow
30mm rear 120mm xflow

I know the old rule of thumb is 120mm per component but unsure if that remains true when building as silent rig as possible

As a rough guide you want the biggest and best rads your case can take. If silence is the aim then the more rads the better and fan choice is very important. I reckon you are going to need a lot of rad space to keep that lot cool anyway. I saw a estimate at Hexus yesterday that Big Navi is looking like a 320w card.

I would not be watercooling in that case though. As usual In-win has gone with form over function and airflow is limited. No roof position and only a single rear fan position is going to cause problems. For some reason they have gone with the ancient choice of sticking the psu up top and using it as a exhaust fan. This can lead to the psu running hotter and noiser due to the fan needing to spin faster. Having radiators dumping their heat into the case is only going to make this worse.
