Its good to see that these companies are realising that the standard controllers are limited and are trying to come up with something new, however, if they had even tried using this on a PS2 or PS3 they would find that even if they could hit all the keys with their thuum they would probably get cramp after 10 mins of playing. And what happened if you need to press 2 buttons at once for something?

The problem is with any new consoles and controllers is that the majority of people set them up on their TVs and sit on their sofas to play. This in itself creates the first major problem, only a controller allows for games to be played like this. Keyboards and mice really need a table to play on, be near impossible to play using them on a sofa.

I think they just need to come up with a more comfortable controller that is more precise and doesnt give you thumb strain :)

Can we please stop any Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft bashing? I really dont see the point, if you dont like them then fair enough but there is no need to go on about it.
 
I really don't like playing FPS games on consoles and there must be a market for this thing because there are loads of people who feel the same way. Even when you get used to using a control pad it just feels clumsy and awkward imo. Something like this would definately make things easier but still will be no substitute to just waiting for certain FPS titles to be released on the PC.

Look man, im too tired to get into an arguement right now but if you checked the tittle of the thread it has " " at the start and at the end. I suppose that didnt suggest to you that it wasnt my own tittle or wordings?
If you see from the posted link, it made a mention that it would soon be available for the ps3 so i dont see your point. Or because it being made for xbox, i guess it is wrong to quote the thread tittle as it was in the link?

As for the rest of you post, please. I wasnt trying to be none of those stuff. It is a common practice to bash sony and it is just so cool to try and say crap about me (which i just laugh at now) in this forum as a whole period - Take it or leave it.
Yes i have called myself a fanboy in the past but where exactly have i showed such antics in this thread so far? Im sure i havent but you will pretty much find one. Put it this way, if you dont like my thread two things - Dont post or RTM. :)

I'm not after an argument, I'm just curious as to whether you knowingly fan the flames of all the dislike you generate for yourself. I have nothing against you actually, but you seem intent on starting stupidly argumentative threads, and you never do anything to attempt to defuse the situation.

My point about the thread was that several of the early posts took the form of the typical "LOL SONY SUX" or "STUPID SONY CONTROLLER" etc, and you made no attempt to correct their mistakes - That this isn't a Sony device, and that Sony don't really have anything to do with the thread really. And by saying "bashing and wiimote copycats", you clearly thought it was a Sony peripheral, as you probably wouldn't have cared less if you'd known it was third party (Seriously, all third-party device makers love to rip off the ones who actually come up with decent ideas, that's why cheap PC gamepads always look suspiciously like the current hot console's controller). I simply thought that you could have bothered to do a bit of investigation, find out that it's not a Sony peripheral, and stated that as such at the start, and it might well have stopped the thread from derailing so drastically.

Not to mention the fact that you openly invited criticism, and then complain when you get it.

Funny that. Your threads always end in trainwrecks of people being needlessly abusive, and you never think to change the way you post? Maybe if you did, you'd find your threads would actually stay on course more often.

What a ridiculous concept. If I don't agree with the starter of a thread, I can't post in it? How the hell do you ever get a discussion started then.

I also hope you grasp the irony of "I'm allowed to post what I like, but you're not allowed to post what you like when you want to criticise me."

And this is the main reason El gets on my nerves, basically says lets have a discussion about something but if your opinions differ to mine you're a fanboy/idiot/causing trouble etc.

El, just because someones opinion is different does not automatically mean they are trying to argue with you, if you don't want people to question what you post then stop making threads.

Maybe arguement shouldnt have been the word to use i must say but i wont stand for him coming across like i made athread just to have an arguement or just post it for the sake of delibrately wanting to cause fiasco on this section of the forum...it aint true and frankly im tired of it.

I'm with you on this one ElRazur, I think Weebull was rather harsh in his opening post on this thread. All you did was find something you thought was cool and then post a link to it for opinions, but then as you were posting you probably thought "I know this is going to get ripped because of the amount of Sony bashing that's been going on on these forums lately", so you made a remark! And as for researching it thoroughly before posting.... are you having a laugh? Is he having a laugh?

This stuff happens - doesn't mean you need to be shot down in flames for it though. If you actually look back through the thread it was all quite pleasant and jovial before you decided to put your two pennies worth in Weebull ;)
