Hi all, im installing a radio sensor at a site tech spec below:-

Direct Interface to your chosen hardware/device
License-Free Frequency 434MHz, 869MHz & 915MHz
434/869MHz Pan-European, 915MHz North America
Flash Programmable
ERP 10mW
RS232, RS422* and RS485* Interface (*Optional: Available on Request)
SMA Antenna connector
On-board voltage regulators
Industrial Grade IP Rated enclosure

The customer is concerned this will interfear with his WIFI. I have explained they are different freq etc but he is having none of it.

here is so more blurb from the manufacture site...

Our compact Wireless RS232, RS422, RS485 Radio Sensing are ready-to-integrate and agency-certified around the world. Robust Radio-Link Modem technology ensures reliable wireless communication in industrial and commercial products, even in RF-dense areas.

Do we have any WIFI experts here? IYO would it conflict???

Cheers guys - thats what i tried telling them!

Ill give it another go - only other option is running a 20M serial cable which will be inacurate over 6M apparently?
