Hi,

I've recently bought a vintage RADO watch and can't seem to find much about historical models etc. on the web.

Anyone, have any of the RADO models in their watch collection? The one I've bought is a 'Starliner' from the 1970's (older than me lol)

Thanks for that link, just what I was looking for. Thought I'd include a picture of the watch - I really like the retro look.

I just need to get more of a quality strap to do it justice.

RADO Starliner 999 cira 1970. Automatic, with 17 jewel movement.

lovely watch that mate. Some of the new Rado's look a bit space age.

Im torn between a JLC Master Compressor or a Stainless Steel Sub when my bonus comes in in April.

The JLC is about 2k more but it's just so much nicer and would be great heirloom for the little youstolemynames when, if ever, they come along.

The rolex is a classic but too many fakes around and I just want something different.

I priced a rolex up in the states and it was 5.5k dollars plus sales tax so not really any cheaper than here. When I asked if they had any stainless daytonas the lady laughed her head off :)
