Most large Corporates don't insure buildings etc. so I wouldn't imagine the Government would covers items such as this

how many GR4's does the UK currently operate?

acording to a website theres 5sqns which have 12 each and one (training unit) with 26 jets of the GR4 type so thats 86. and 2 sqns with 12 each of the GR4A type. but i would expect them to be swapped around different Squadrons from time to time

according to Wikipedia 12 in each squadron, and 8 squadrons, with 16 in the F3 squadrons. except 9 squadron now has 11.
