Someone probably spilt a drink which has been blown out of all proportion into a major incident.

Mrhhh sounds a bit fishy to me. Could easily be contrived to give us all a warm fuzzy feeliong inside that the State is doing all it can to protect us.

Not often we scramble jets however.

Confirmed security incident now, so it is being taken seriously or serious enough to scramble.

Landed now, captain said to be relaxed towards the incident. Cannot be too serious.

I don't understand why they would scramble jets. Is it to shoot it down if it was going to crash/aim at a densely populated area?

Isn't it standard procedure if they lose contact with the pilot. Could be just a radio fault

They also use jets to actually get a visual of the cockpit
