They weren't amazing, but that's a bit of an exaggeration!
Can't be worse than the original Borderlands ending surely!

**** game, textures resemble N64 quality.
I never bothered finishing it either, thought it was a bit dull
I think I got (via the underground resistance) to go to a new city on a hot air balloon...something like that and stopped playing.
It bugged me that some, if not all the enemies would disappear after dying / weapons not being able to be picked up and so on.
I've just started playing it again based on this thread and I agree, that's really annoying. Also, the texture pop in sucks.

Can't say I ever had much of an issue with texture pop in, though I was using an Nvidia card at the time which may have been the reason.
Due to this thread, I think I might install it again. It's about time I finally got around to playing the DLC.![]()
The flow in regards to weapons and stuff really sucked the life out of it IMO - you'd get some really fun tools to do previous sections with - but only after you'd cleared most of those sections :| if you'd happen to have left a bit it could be fun watching stuff explode in inventive ways, etc. but those same tools and weapons would have no practical application to the gameplay ahead which didn't really make much sense :S
With some serious rejigging of the game I think they'd have had something really good.

I played it a fair bit, thinking to myself this is actually quite enjoyable - textures aside etc. Good mechainics, and shooting decent storyline and actually very good visuals when not close up on a texture.
Anyway, I was happy playing away. Got some decent kit and the story was building up nicely. Just about into the 3rd chapter of the game and have a big firefight with a few bigass grunts. Save game for tomorrows session.
Come tomorrow load game.
Kill the bigass grunts (saving heavykickass guns for later still)... aaaaand the game ends.
Thats it.
Game over.
